I'll be particpating in the BCU Research Matter(s) conference on the 8th July 2016.
Here's what I have submitted as my statement of intent:
Greg is a practitioner currently concerned with moments rather than materials. As a result of working on
a three-year collaborative research project and through extensive physical
explorations, interviews and observations, he has momentarily moved away from a material
centred practice. Outdoor ritual,
conversation and performance presently offer the opportunity to connect with
other people and to the location within which they meet. Greg is here today to reflect upon his
current predicament and to stimulate dialogue around the question of what is
an artist?
