I've been fairly busy at work recently. It's half term which gives me a chance to post some of my new work. As well as finishing off the refurbishment of this seventies mirror, I've worked with Ellie from Textiles, here at Hereford, to produce these cushions. I'm bloody stoked with the results. They encapsulate everything I want to communicate with my work; they're tactile, soft, bold. They might just pursuade people to have me in their homes. gx
Trying a new design. This one's, obviously based, on a love of mine...beer. I'm also a big fan of the artist, Eric Ravilious; the three-dimensional, and somewhat grainy, aspect of the design is attributed to him, I obtained this effect by sand-blasting the design free-hand. Soon to be seen in a drinking hole near you?
I've also been continuing to produce monster mirrors. I was given this weird old wooden mirror. I decided to give it a burnt finish. Might just look good in the right house.
